Description

Made from a single Douglas fir tree that has poured out all to become a lowly (or not so lowly) bench.  Carved laminations, inlaid polished rhyolite, brightly colored painting and tricky box joints are the hallmark of this piece.  And the inspiration?  Like most parents, soldiers, teachers, or any giver, and Christ especially, the tree has given it’s all to become something that can give us rest.
